WHY IS IT REQUIRED?

At UPAY, we believe in the holistic development of deprived children in all the domains of life. Our main focus stays on enhancing the education standards of the needy. Improving education standards come along with improving other aspects as well such as sanitation, hygiene, skill development, and many more. We have a wonderful team of mentors and teachers who strive hard day and night to make the lives of these children better and guarantee a better future for them.

Quality education comes at a price. To maintain the standards of education and to provide children with the best thing possible, a substantial amount of capital is required to meet all the needs of the organization.

THE SOLUTION!  

Funds raised through this campaign will directly be utilized for the operations at UPAY. This consists of improving the quality of equipment, building new centers, and also in the form of compensation for our mentors. Gurgaon zone of UPAY currently has 4 centers at Sohna Road, Sikanderpur, Sec 51, and Sec 57. A total of 225 underprivileged kids are beneficiaries of these 4 centers They have been working pretty hard and require some kind of reimbursement for their hard work.

Also in the pandemic, when the only way of imparting education is through online resources only, the requirement for smart devices and a good internet connection pops in. The funds raised through this campaign would be utilized for meeting the expenses incurred for online classes.

Utilization Breakup:

Monthly stipend of one teacher: INR 5000

The annual stipend of one teacher: INR 60000 No of teachers(one per center): 3

Annual expense for teachers stipend: INR 180000

Monthly expenses on internet pack of students of Gurugram zone: INR 1800

Annual expense on internet pack: INR  21600

Total required funds: INR 200000

The mission is to join hands with the immensely rich and already literate human capital of India to eradicate illiteracy from the rest of the country and break the seemingly unbreakable deadlock through a tailor-made curriculum as per the child’s need.
