The Need- 

In India, nearly 9.97 crore children live in poverty. It is one of the prominent reasons why so many children in India do not have the opportunity to receive a good education. Even those you can access education through government provisions are deprived of quality due to oversight and lack of proper provisions to individual schools. 

Education is an essential tool to help children break this cycle of poverty. However, those who need it the most are unable to reap its fruits. Through charity, we can provide them with all the material possessions in the world, but without education, they wouldn’t know to make appropriate use of those things. Education is the best gift we can empower them with. 

The Solution-

Our aim at UPAY is to join hands with the immensely rich and literate population of India to eradicate illiteracy from the rest of the country. We help the children cover gaps in their education and build a strong foundation for their future. 

We believe that empowering the community will help sustain the change we bring long enough to seep into the roots of its culture. Thus, along with academic education, we inculcate leadership skills in our students. Through initiatives like systematic peer learning our students also learn to be independent, self-sufficient, and understand the importance of empowering others.

The utilization of Funds –

The amount raised through this campaign shall be utilized to provide the children with books, stationeries, art, and craft and other utilities to support the operation of our learning resources.
